Join Esther de Ru - no recipes, no simplified answers. Just real clinical reasoning, pattern recognition, and a focus on what you are actually seeing in the children in front of you with diastesis recti, neuromuscular scolioisis
The tape itself is not the interesting part.
The response is.

Join us for 90 minute of clinical clarity

Grounded - Practical - Immediately Useful

Your Invitation

Come join us for 90 minutes of insights and clinically nuanced discussion with an expert clinician who thinks differently, questions the norms, and gets results.

Esther will explore:

  • How the skin functions as a sensory and clinical information system
  •  The relationship between scars, posture, asymmetry, breathing, movement, and compensation
  •  Why some tape applications create meaningful change while others do not
  •  How therapeutic taping can support clinical observation and reasoning
  •  The importance of reassessment and response-based thinking
  •  Common clinical patterns Esther repeatedly notices across paediatric practice
  •  How to think more critically about therapeutic taping applications across a wide range of presentations
  •  Questions submitted by therapists attending live from around the world

You will leave with:

  •  a broader conceptual understanding of therapeutic taping
  •  greater confidence interpreting clinical presentations
  •  clearer reasoning around tape applications
  •  new ways of observing movement and asymmetry
  •  a deeper appreciation for how interconnected these systems really are

And you'll walk away with a broader, more connected way of thinking that you can bring into clinic straight away.
What Makes Esther’s Teaching Different?

Esther does not teach therapeutic taping as a collection of recipes.

She teaches therapists how to think.

Her work integrates:

  • paediatric neurodevelopment
  •  posture and asymmetry
  •  fascia and movement systems
  •  respiratory mechanics
  •  sensory systems
  •  scoliosis
  •  scars and skin behaviour
  •  and decades of clinical observation

What therapists repeatedly say after learning with Esther is not simply:

“I learned a new tape application.”

      It is...

“I started seeing the child differently.”

And that is the beginning of meaningful progress.

Meet Your Expert
Esther de Ru is a paediatric physiotherapist from the Netherlands with decades of clinical experience across paediatric neurodevelopment, scoliosis, posture, movement, scars, respiratory systems, and therapeutic taping.

She is internationally respected for her ability to connect systems together in ways that help therapists think more deeply about what they are observing clinically.

Esther’s teaching style is thoughtful, practical, observational, and deeply grounded in real clinical work.

She is not interested in oversimplified answers.
She is interested in helping therapists:
  • observe more carefully
  •  reason more clearly
  •  and better understand the children in front of them

She brings together neurodevelopment, posture, sensory systems, fascia, and movement in a way that often challenges what we think we know, and helps therapists see the children in front of them more clearly and reason more confidently about what they observe.
Is This For You?
If you want to think more deeply about:

  • therapeutic taping
  •  posture asymmetry
  •  scars
  •  movement
  •  sensory systems
  •  and clinical interpretation in paediatric practice…

we would love to have you join us.

Frequently Asked Questions
  • Is this only for therapists already experienced with taping?
    No.

Therapists who are newer to therapeutic taping will gain a much clearer understanding of the concepts and reasoning behind applications.

Experienced therapists often attend because they want deeper clinical interpretation and more nuanced thinking around complex presentations.
  • I already use tape confidently. Is this still relevant for me?
    Very likely, yes.

Many experienced therapists attend Esther’s sessions not because they need basic applications, but because they want to refine how they observe, interpret, reassess, and reason clinically.
  • Will this workshop teach exact tape applications?
There will absolutely be discussion around applications and clinical use.

But the primary focus is understanding the reasoning behind therapeutic taping rather than memorizing protocols.
  • What if I can't attend live?
No worries. Everyone who registers gets full replay access - revisit anytime.
  • Can I submit questions in advance?
Yes. Once registered, you’ll be invited to send in your questions. If you're not able to attend live, your question will still be asked and you can catch the answer in the replay.
  • Is this suitable for newer clinicians or only advanced practitioners?
All are welcome. Whether you're new to pediatric therapy or have years of experience, this session will deepen your understanding of how positioning and environmental adaptations intersect with movement, communication, learning and participation.
  • Can parents access this recording?
Yes - these recordings are accessible to anyone who is wanting to understand how to support communication and access for their kids with complex needs. All discussions are general education content only and insights that arise from this presentation should be discussed with the child's medical team directly.
  • Will you go into depth on specific clinical cases?
This session focuses on general principles and pattern recognition. For in-depth individual case discussions, you can get an in-depth peer review by joining CEO. If you are a parent, you can access peer-review sessions for your child through your therapist.
  • Do you get any Continuing Education Credits for attending?
To keep this event affordable and accessible globally, we do not pursue individual CEU approvals across states and countries.

However, live attendees receive a certificate of attendance, along with the presenter’s credentials and session details, which can typically be self-submitted to your registration board according to local requirements.
  • What if I cannot attend live because of the timezone?
    No problem.

The full replay is included with your ticket.

You can also submit questions beforehand so your question can still shape the discussion even if you cannot attend live.
  • Is therapeutic taping evidence based?
This workshop approaches therapeutic taping through the broader lens of clinical reasoning, observation, reassessment, and patient response.

The discussion will reflect the complexity of real-world paediatric practice rather than presenting simplistic one-size-fits-all answers.

About CEO
For many therapists, these Ask-The-Expert sessions creates a shift.

You start to see things you hadn’t seen before.
You begin to question things you previously accepted.

And very quickly, a new question follows:
How do I apply this to my child?”

That’s where most workshops stop.
This is where the work continues.

Clinical Excellence Online (CEO) is where you take this further.

Not by learning more content.

But by applying this way of thinking to real children, in real situations.

Inside CEO:
  • You bring the children you’re working with
  • We slow things down
  • We look carefully at what’s happening
  • And decide what actually needs to change

It’s where insight becomes application. If you choose to continue after the workshop, you can step straight into that next level of support and tap into a team of experts that will make everything easier and more effective to implement

And your workshop ticket gets you two months free inside CEO so you can see if it works for you.

" It gave me the confidence to advocate for a new approach, resulting in dramatic improvements in the child's posture, breathing, speech, and overall function. CEO enabled this transformation that would not have happened otherwise, by connecting me with expert knowledge I could apply directly to help this child."
